The Elemental Dragons

There are four Elemental Dragons of the Earth plane: Earth, Air, Fire and Water. These are the strongest personal associations for most of us on the planet, and each one of us finds a specific affinity for one of these four in particular, even though all of the energies can be accessed and used once there is awareness of the ability to do so. The deep kinship or association one feels with one of the elemental dragons does not necessarily relate to one's birth sign. For example, a Libra is considered an Air sign, but may be most influenced by the Water Dragon.

These dragons are our connection to the dragon lines of energy within the physical body and as such, our connection to expanding ourselves into freedom and full consciousness in the physical. By connecting to and merging with them, the Black and White Dragons can be connected to, which in turn leads to our expansion through the Crystal Dragon and into the interdimensional dragon lines of transmission through the core of the planet and Metatron.

There is natural balance within the dragon geometry as we merge and use them. Not only is there balance to be found in the merging of the male and female aspects of one particular type of dragon, but other pairings can be merged as well. For example, the Earth and Air dragons merge and support each other as do the Fire and Water dragons. To work with multiple dragons, it is most useful to work with either already merged energies (male/female) of each type (Earth, Air, Fire or Water) or work with, for example, the male Earth and the female Air or the female Water and male Fire. There are different aspects to be anchored and experienced with the male and female energies of each and working with them together, as described in the section Working With Multiple Dragons at Once.) Begin your work with the dragons, however, individually, focusing on either the male or female aspect of each.

It is through sound, breath, movement, and the harnessing of sexual energy that we connect to, and feel them awaken within us. We feel the transformation as the Dragon Within awakens and breathes through us. The breath changes becoming more raspy, deeper, fuller, hotter… the eyes flutter open intermittently and we look upon the world in a new way as if seeing it for the first time; feeling the Dragon looking through our eyes. The body begins to sway and move spontaneously, stretching in new ways as if stretching sleeping muscles and joints that have been still for eons.

Working with the Dragons allows new circuits to begin to flow that create heat throughout the body letting us know of their presence. When these four are awakened within and merged, the White and Black Dragons can be accessed to reach an even deeper level.

Begin with the dragon that speaks to you most loudly as you hold all four in front of you. Spend time with only one, really anchoring it deeply within you and merging with it before working with the next. Listen first to the individual CD track for that dragon's mantra to ensure the right rhythm and pronunciation and then spend time sounding it alone. Once you have worked with the dragons sounds for yourself, you can move into deeper levels of work with them by looping the CD tracks, so that they continue in the background as you move into a deeper internal space in the presence of the dragon you are working with.

When sounding the mantras for yourself, it is important to sound it verbally and not just internally to feel the expulsion of the breath and the dragon rising within. Allow the movements to flow freely from this space through the body. The Earth Dragon, for example, may move differently through each person's body, although the breath expulsion patterns described for each will be consistent. Allow this part to be organic and creative… that is one of the keys of the dragons. If you feel moved to dance with them, dance.

Once a deep space of connection has been reached, then tune in and feel whether you have connected to the male or female aspect of this particular Elemental Dragon. The first one you connect to is a deep connection for you and one that will be like your foundation stone. Women can be Keepers of male dragon energies, as can men be Keepers of female dragon energies.

For each of the elements there will be different experiences with the male and female aspects, and different circuitry in the body activated. When both have been worked with individually, you can set your intention and ask to have them merge within you. This merging is a very powerful experience with any of the Dragons. It is like experiencing them making ecstatic love in, around and through you. They revel in it, as will you.

It will be helpful as you work with these energies to also envision or have an image of the symbol for each dragon with you, as well as, if possible, a piece of the stone or metal they are associated with. This will make the connection stronger and easier to access, especially when working alone. Group or partner breathing and sounding, like meditation, offers an exponential energetic component to enhance the energy flow coming through.

You may also experience spontaneous work with the dragons once a connection has been made during your sleep. They like to work in the realms we access during deep REM sleep because we are more open and receptive in those realms. Do not worry if you cannot bring the experience back with you; just try to remember which dragons you were working with and maybe keep a journal of it for later reference.

Your work with the Elemental Dragons is the first layer of connection and awakening of ancient pathways through the body and the foundation for the eventual anchoring of the Lightbody into the physical that the Interdimensional Dragons bring to you. Take your time with it as you would the laying of any foundation. This will make the subsequent work not only deeper, but actually possible, as the Dragons will not work with you at certain levels if you are not properly prepared.

This especially applies to the true gifts the Elemental Dragons bring when you reach the level of working in the Eye of the Dragon. Work in this realm allows us to reach our co-creative divinity and regain access to streams of divine consciousness and the keys to manifesting consciously in order to bring Spirit into Matter. It is well worth laying a solid foundation in order to reach this level of work.
